Ive read people say,"I need four more team-mates for my Giro team..."
What does that mean.I pick a team by spending my 7,000 U.C.I. points and that's it,right?What's this team mate talk?

In english it might be confusing but on wielerprono we have two types of teams.
1. Your personal selection or riders
2. A team of participators. If this team has more then 5 members you take part in the teamranking.

okay.It's sinking in slowly.Correct me if any statements are wrong...
I picked a team,spending my 7,000 points.I am in 339th place.There are teams with 5 members on that one team.Each of those five members spent 7,000 on their picks.There score is added together.Yes?

You're getting there... The five people in that team all spent 7000 points, and yes, there scores are added up...
In teams of more people, the top-5 scores each day are added up

I'm in 535th place out of 1,206 teams,all by myself.
Is there any way to tell how many "single person teams" there are?
Have you always done this up-to-5-players-to-a team thing?

No, in our first game a team was valid with 3 people... The site grew, however, and 5 people should be realistic, no?

The 'Overall Ranking' shows all 1,206 competants, who've send in their team of 12 cyclists. This is the individual ranking, the ranking of the "single person teams", as you say.
Then you have a 'Team Ranking', a secundary ranking, that is played by the "more person teams".
With your team of 12 chosen cyclist from the individual 'Overall Ranking', you can join some other players in a team of other wielerprono.be-members (who have their own team of 12 cyclists).
The players make so a team, that exists of minimum 5 competants. The score of the 5 best in every team is counted up, and put in the 'Team Ranking'. |

I must have misunderstood... What wesley said is correct though, those are two different rankings....
We should make this more clear in the FAQ. |

thank you Wesley,thank you Jinx.Im on a message board and drag many of the members from game to game,as games come and go out of existence.(Remember the 'Win Your Record" game run by Campy?)
I wanted to understand before I bring a bunch of people over here.
Currently,we all over at Cobblestone.
Anyway,I now understand.
